John,
You're cool!
I believe rather firmly that ASL and Deaf people can be seen everywhere on the entire campus, including MSSD and KDES, starting at all campus gates. It would also be great if we have a building dedicated entirely to the language and culture of the Deaf, ASL.

I agree with ABC 100%.

Carl,
John's idea is to get recognition of ASL, and by those means, he is recommending that ASL "stay" in SLCC for "higher visibility" as opposed to your vision of moving it to an isolated, less attractive building, the Mary Thornberry building, away from all the ear-nose-throat vibrating departments that seems to draw people in.

ABC, I agree with you 1,000,000%. No questions about it. They will be exposure from it. My friend from other mainstream school and attended Gally. Met me a couple weeks ago and learned that we were Gally. I had a good talk with him. He was happy to learn ASL from Gally.

Yes we have the power to make sure that the ASL floor is maintained beautifully, we can always raise funds to get oil portraits of famous deaf people who contributed to ASL, even donate our vlog films for people to watch, and many many more... We also can contribute money and make sure it goes directly to ASL/Deaf studies floor.

Well I agreed with Carl's concerned comment. Please keep to remember that Carl inquired deeply into all of the Gally manuals, operations and policies and then found out that it restricts the freedom of free-thinking and innovation. I began to realize that the SLCC sets a trap with its hidden agenda like a sheep's wool skin covered wolf waiting for the ASL and Deaf Studies

Well we have DEAF RESOURCE CENTRE in DEAF CLUb and it seem to help to inform almost everything also we have another Society Disability MB Idu. If they go to see Doctor asnd he or she would refer to either one

It is important to have Public Relations for Life!

I recently came back to Indy from Gally this past monday. I saw the SLCC construction. My friend explained about the planning. I applied for ASL/Deaf studies grad program.. and when they told me ASL/Deaf Studies would be based in SLCC.. I was shocked... I said wait a min.... in that new bldg??? WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I at first thought it was in wrong location.
Until I saw your Vlog... it makes sense.. I totally agree with your statement. We should have ASL/Deaf Studies in SLCC to SHOW DEAF POWER and we preserve our Deaf culture!
But is it necessary to call it SLCC? Oh well... It will be interesting when it happens in 2 yrs!
