My Son Needs Your HELP! Thank you!!

We are a group of Purdue researchers in 3D animation and ASL. We have recently developed a 3D animation-based software tool (the ASL system- Animation Speaks Louder) that allows educators of the Deaf to add sign language translation, in the form of 3D character animations, to digital media.

In order for the potential of this system to be realized, it must move from laboratory development and testing to field testing and use. We need your help! Please take some time to experiment with the software and let us know what you think.

1. Go to this page http://idealab.tech.purdue.edu/ASL/tutorial/asl_tutorial.htm and follow the instructions that explain how to download and install the software on your computer

2.Read the instructions on how to use the software and watch the tutorial video

3. Follow the steps outlined here http://idealab.tech.purdue.edu/ASL/instructions/instructions.htm and try to accomplish all the tasks

4. Go to this web site http://www.kwiksurveys.com/online-survey.php?surveyID=LCJKH_c407e2fc and fill out the survey.

Thank you for participating in this study, your input is fundamental to the success of this project.
