Hey there, ha, slightly different version from what I know. People put hearing aid on tree, it finally heard and fell. The last strand-toothpick and sweating of tree, that's new to me. That's the old way joke?

'THE CANDLE' and 'TIMBER' are very old story but enjoyed to heard it again also i notice that little add into the story

Ü Of Course, it's so old joke. I used to love it but new "PAH". That's good idea. Another old joke, When tree won't go down, ask tree Dr to find out why. Dr said tree is deaf and blind. So, Timberman went up tree and spell it (w)hand. Timberman got stuck and fell off with tree. I love this joke, too Ü John, You always did a good job on ASL ! Ü
